A downloadable game

The dandelion girl is a retelling of the original short story of the same name written by Robert F Young.

"After Mark Randolph goes on vacation completely alone due to unforeseen circumstances regarding his wife, his peaceful staying gets disturbed the moment he encounters a strange girl on top of a hill, who claims she's from the future."

We aim to tell the story in a graphic way, with slight, minor changes to modernize the story a bit but maintain the core of the story intact.

We aim for an early release in H1 2023 having the bare bones of the story and graphics, and a more enhanced version set to begin development as soon as the previous one is finished. The enhanced version will (hopefully) release later in the year, and will include cutscenes, key illustrations, and whatever we must do to push this project even further. The project is set to release on PC, Android/iOS, and Nintendo Switch.

The Dandelion Girl is a collaboration between Walter Verneros (UlpoMedia) and Francisco Fuenzalida (SleepingDemons), bonded by our passion for the original story and how it made our minds and hearts run wild.

Disclaimer: This kinetic novel is not associated with nor based on "The Dandelion Girl: Don't You Remember Me?", a visual novel developed by Outis media.  Our main artist has chosen to consciously don't play the game, so we're basing our creative decisions entirely on the original source. Outis media has been properly informed of this project.

I found this game out while searching for the other Dandelion Girl adaptation on VNDB, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that there is another team adapting the short story!

I’m now motivated to read the original story and then both VNs. I think it’ll be interesting to see the differences in the adaptations.

Also, I checked the devlogs and the assets looks very beautiful. I look forward for the release of your game!
